About Mary

Music has always been an essential part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing that love with my students.I have been teaching privately for over 10 years, and since 2023 I have also worked in several music schools. As a performer, I have been active since the age of 13, taking part in youth orchestras such as the ERT Youth Orchestra, performing in concerts and recordings as a professional violinist, and collaborating in various events, weddings, and live performances. In addition to my degrees in violin, harmony, counterpoint, and fugue, I have attended several music seminars and workshops to further expand my teaching methods. I am currently also completing a special education seminar. My lessons are open to students of all ages and levels — from young beginners to advanced players — always aiming to make music both enjoyable and deeply rewarding.

About the lesson

As a professional violin and music theory teacher, I focus on developing both technical precision and musical expression in my students. My lessons are personalised to each student's goals, combining elements of technique, interpretation, and musical understanding.With more than 10 years of experience in both teaching and performing, I am committed to help each student in a supportive and inspiring environment. I believe that every person has the potential to make music, regardless of age or background. My approach is patient and encouraging. I am also continuously developing my teaching skills through seminars and training in special education, to ensure my lessons are inclusive and accessible to everyone. I take great care in creating a positive and motivating atmosphere, where students can gain confidence, enjoy learning, and truly express themselves through the violin.
