I thought I needed to learn more rendering. Turns out my compositions were just boring. Tadeo had me make tiny thumbnails before touching the final drawing, and suddenly I could see why some ideas worked and others didnt. Very simple exercise but probably the most useful thing I’ve learned.

My 11 year old son has been drawing monsters nonstop for about two years and wanted to improve. Tadeo managed to make the lessons feel like fun rather than school. They worked on shapes, expressions, poses and a bit of anatomy, but he never seemed overwhelmed by it. He actually asks when his next class is, which says quite a lot!

I wanted help with comic art but I didnt really know what I needed help with . Tadeo looked through some pages I’d done and we talked about everything from anatomy and backgrounds to panel composition and where the eye goes first. The biggest thing for me was learning that a comic drawing doesnt need to contain every bit of information. Some things can just be suggested. That made the whole process feel much less exhausting. Also being able to do the lessons online from my own desk is honestly a huge plus.
