Professional artist with a background in social work, integrates psycho-social support with studio art, I teach ages 10-adult individually, to cultivate daily creative practice in multiple mediums.

Nancy taught my mom a year's worth of drawing and painting courses, which I had purchased for my mom's birthday to fulfill her lifelong goal to further her artistic practice. At the beginning of her time with students, Nancy adeptly assesses their artistic goals, alongside where they're at emotionally, gauging their motivations and how they feel about their work. Skillfully pulling when appropriate from her joint background alongside art-making in social work, Nancy utilizes therapeutic techniques to support many of her students. Nancy's sensitivity and enthusiastic support meant a lot to my mom, whose work and confidence blossomed in her year of their courses together.
