About Raya
I am a bilingual French-English individual living in Dubai.
I help beginners build confidence in speaking English through clear, practical, and structured lessons tailored to their needs.
I had a strong understanding of the challenges French speakers face when learning English, so I wanted to focus on making the learning process simple, approachable, and effective. My goal is to help students communicate naturally in everyday situations, whether for travel, work, or social interactions.
I want to create a supportive and professional learning environment where people feel comfortable learning, practicing and improving at their own pace. My lessons are interactive, goal-oriented, and designed to deliver real progress.

My approach to tutoring is practical, supportive, and tailored to each student. I focus on helping French speakers feel confident using English in real-life situations, not just understanding grammar.
My teaching methodology is based on conversation, repetition, and simplicity. I break down English into easy, digestible parts and use everyday scenarios (ordering food, work conversations, travel, etc.) to make learning relevant and engaging. I also adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and goals.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a mix of speaking practice, vocabulary building, and light grammar. I prioritize speaking and listening to help students gain confidence quickly.
I am a bilingual French-English speaker with experience helping beginners improve their communication skills. I understand the common challenges French speakers face when learning English, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
My lessons are mainly for beginners and lower-intermediate students, including adults and young professionals who want to improve their everyday English for work, travel, or social situations.
