About Xiang
Hi, I am a professional classical saxophonist with 20 years of performance experiences and 9 years of teaching experiences. I finished my Master's degree and Advanced Music study Certificate in Carnegie Mellon University, and Artist Diploma in Duquesne University. Many awards are earned from all over the world, including the winner of 2021 CMU Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition, winner of both the 76th and 79th Pittsburgh Concert Society Major Audition, The 3rd place in professional group of International Competition for Young Musicians “Ohrid Pearls” in Macedonia, Premiered “The Strange Library” by French composer Benoit Garnier with Sostenuto Saxophone Ensemble at 17th World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg, France and etc.
I am based in Pittsburgh, PA. I can go to your house in the Pittsburgh area or do online teaching. Additionally, I can also teach in Mandarin if students need.
