About Sarah

Hi I’m Sarah! I have been teaching in London for 8 years and have enjoyed every minute of it!
I love meeting new people and helping students of all levels progress with their dance training. My classes focus on enjoying the learning process while working hard and having a lot of fun throughout. My training and teaching experience includes contemporary dance, hip hop and isolation-based movement, including tutting, waving and body control techniques.
I have taught in dance studios, universities and dance companies across London and I thoroughly enjoy helping students build confidence and explore movement in a creative, engaging way.

About the lesson

I hold fun, informal classes designed to give students a comfortable space to learn and feel at ease throughout the process. Lessons are adapted to individual goals, whether you want to learn choreography, improve technique, or work towards a specific routine or performance.
A lesson will often start with a warm-up and simple technique work, followed by learning or building choreography step by step. We can also focus on foundations, freestyle, or specific styles depending on what you want to improve. You are welcome to choose music you enjoy and help shape how you would like the class to be structured.
I teach students of all ages, from complete beginners to more experienced dancers. I have worked across a range of goals including basic steps, contemporary technique, hip hop and house foundations, choreography in styles such as K-pop and tutting, and wedding dances.
Each lesson is designed to help you grow from one class to the next, building your skills and tracking your progress so you can take your dancing to the next level.

Perfect! There is truly nobody better than Sarah! We were looking for a professional, creative, friendly and organised teacher to choreograph the first dance at our wedding to our favourite song. Even though it wasn't a conventional wedding song Sarah prepared the best routine imaginable and we are so happy to have found her. Every class is such a joy and we can't wait for the next. Sarah is so patient and supportive - which is exactly what we needed as total novices. Thank you for everything Sarah!

I have always had fun in her classes as they are a push and Sarah is very aware of how everyone is feeling and if people need that extra bit of help before moving on.
