About Albin
I have been playing drums since the age of 9 and piano since I was 12. I am passionate about drums as a whole but especially Jazz. In high school, I played classical percussion at Södra Latin's high school and then changed course to Jazz drums. 2023 I moved to New York City to study at Tribeca Jazz Institute and there I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the best drummers in the world (Gregory Hutchinson, Kenny Washington, Joe Farnsworth, etc). Right now I am finishing my degree in Jazz Performance at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and playing with some of Sweden's best musicians on the Stockholm jazz scene.

Albin är en av få trummisar i Stockholm som har bra koll på jazzmusikens tradition och historia. Utöver det är han en otroligt skicklig musiker och intresserar sig samt djupdyker i allt han får ta del av. Musik, övningar, elever eller vad det nu kan vara. En stark rekommendation för elever som vill satsa på att bli en bättre trumslagare.
