About DEBBIE
I am a qualified professional English Teacher with 30 years experience. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications, over 5 yeas in this field, public relations and marketing and am a professional published author. I have experience in all genres of writing including for film, radio and television. I am also a public speaker/motivational/inspirational and spiritual. My natural creativity makes it easy to create a fun, easy going yet disciplined learning environment where students are always engaged in classes.
I specialize in high school literature as well as English and Literature studies at both the college and university levels. I also assist students in completing assignments so they can attain the best grades possible.

My teaching techniques vary depending on the student's age, level and style of learning. So in some cases there would be more oral work and in others more visual and yet others a combination. I facilitate critical thinking and analysis on the student's part and ALWAYS bring a high level of creativity and fun activities into each session, again depending on the particular student's personality and preferences.

Details
Hourly rates will depend on the level of each student as well as the distance to be traveled if there is a 1 on 1 in person session. Generally my rates vary between $25 - $30 / hour.
Shakespeare and in depth novel studies are $30/hr.
