About Jamie

Jamie Devine runs Subwaves Music Studios & Lessons and is a 26 year old singer, guitarist, vocal coach, music producer and talent scout based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, County Durham and Chester-le-Street. He discovered music at a young age and later went onto perform his own shows at O2 Academy Newcastle, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and many local venues as well as radio stations around North East England singing a wide variety of styles. Jamie has studied music extensively throughout his career including Artist Development at Access To Music in York, and London Centre of Contemporary Music working with artists who have appeared on national TV and radio. Subwaves Music Lessons provide a fun and friendly approach to lessons while developing skills lesson by lesson with each session tailored for maximum progress. Jamie teaches all ages from beginners who have never sung or played before through to advanced musicians.

Jamie has also studied with some of most sought after vocal experts in the world including Seth Riggs and Brett Manning and played guitar and sung for 7 years.

Jamie has had the pleasure of recording in many top recording studios including the world famous Clear Lake Recording Studios in Hollywood, California.

With over 7 years of solid experience from busking in the North East to gigging around the world, radio appearances as well as learning about music from the best in the music business Jamie takes great pride in giving you the tools and education necessary to meet your goals.

About the lesson

Professional Private One-to-One Guitar Lessons and/or vocal lessons suitable for beginners through to advanced. Singing and/or guitar lessons available in Newcastle in our Eldon Square music studio. On location lessons also available. Suitable for those who have never done music before to advanced.

We specialise in getting you playing and/or singing the music which you enjoy most and giving you all the tools and education necessary to meet your goals. We welcome students from all over the world via Skype and in person lessons at the studio in Newcastle. Jamie is an experienced guitarist and singer with a proven track record with several years of teaching and performing experience.

At Subwaves Studios Guitar and Vocal Lessons we aim to provide the highest level of music education to all levels ensuring that each lesson is specific and tailored to each student, while making learning process enjoyable.

Subwaves Studios Guitar Lessons can also offer advice on which equipment to buy for beginning guitarists as well as offer performing opportunities in the music industry to the players which are ready.
