About Cecilia

For me, teaching is about much more than learning notes and technique — it’s about discovering the joy of music and building confidence through it. I love seeing how every student grows at their own pace and finds their unique voice with the flute. I believe that music should always be inspiring, never intimidating. That’s why I create a supportive and flexible environment, where challenges turn into motivation and progress feels natural. Whether your goal is to play for fun, prepare for exams, or explore orchestral and chamber repertoire, I will be there to guide you with patience, enthusiasm, and passion for music.

About the lesson

Hello! I’m a classically trained flautist, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Conservatori Liceu (Barcelona) and a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Music (London). For the past 10 years, I’ve been teaching flute, music theory, and beginner’s piano to students of all ages — from children discovering music for the first time to adults wanting to refine their skills. My lessons are dynamic and fully adapted to each student’s age, level, and goals. Whether you want to prepare for exams, improve your technique, explore orchestral repertoire, or simply enjoy making music, I will guide you with patience and enthusiasm. As a performer, I have played with orchestras in Spain and the UK, with a focus on both orchestral repertoire and chamber music. This professional background brings depth and inspiration to my teaching. Lessons available online or in person (at my place, at your home, or in a studio/centre). If you’re looking for a supportive teacher who will help you grow while keeping music enjoyable, I’d be delighted to accompany you on your musical journey!
