About Galen
Through music production and recording technology, I strive to educate the importance of engendering artistic intent without compromise to the music, artist, band, project, or performance. I have taught several students in the past primarily in live sound or studio environments and ultimately cater every lesson to specific goals or what they are excited to learn about. Many of these students are now holding professional studio and live sound positions in our nations capital and beyond.

I am a graduate of the Music Production and Recording Technology program of Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. When approaching a topic within music production and recording technology that can quickly become very technical and complex, I tend to listen to the students needs/level and cater information to learn in a growth based process. It is also very important to me to make sure students hone a technical skillset to serve their passion for sharing music with others - and ultimately realize what that means to them.
