David is an outstanding teacher who possesses the rare ability to convey complex musical concepts in a way that is both understandable and inspiring. He is incredibly patient and always willing to tailor his teaching approach to suit individual needs. David himself is a very charismatic and amazing guitarist who has played in several bands and can 'own' a room when he is on stage. I highly recommend him!

I took guitar lessons from Mr Ashe for about five years around 2016-21. Always friendly and helpful, as well as punctual and communicative. I feel like he is a true musician and instrumentalist who has walked the walk and has spent years honing his craft. He can do many styles of music and has a vast knowledge of gear. The same could be said of his career as a teacher now, seeing as hes been doing it for about as long. Got a ton of valuable information and good conversation from our years working together, which made it hard to part. But he helped prepare me to play with other people and solo which is what i wanted. Practice, apply to lessons, and you will reap the benefits without a doubt.

David was my first teacher, 20 years ago. He is skilled, patient, and as a bonus he's very funny and charming. He's a bonafide rock star and he can give his students the launching pad for wherever they want to take their music. Highly recommend!

I knew David Ashe, and also good friend of his fiancee, and ex girlfriend and friends for about 20 years when he lived in London. We are all still in touch, along with fellow musicians and friends. I have always thought David to be very trustworthy and caring, even when young and crazy 35 years ago. Even then David wanted to teach guitar and was passionate about it. I would without doubt, and so would more people I can count, be happy and feel privileged to for example let their children have private guitar tutorials with Mr Ashe.

I found David through Craigslist, after becoming frustrated with my own guitar abilities and countless instructors, over the years, telling me they could help me reach a goal of mine. David not only was patient with me and my abilities, he focussed in on what I was aiming for. Before long, I was playing exactly what I had wanted to play for years, plus a whole lot more. If anyone out there desires to learn guitar from a real guitarist, look no further - David is the instructor! He also has great stories to tell about his touring years!

David Ashe is the best! We've toured together and he's one of the top players I've known. If you want to study with someone who has excellent knowledge and a depth of real world experience (and is a nice guy as well) I would easily recommend David!
