About Justin

I enjoy helping college students develop their piano skills through lessons that are simple, motivating, and enjoyable. With over 4 years of teaching experience, I focus on helping students build confidence while developing a strong understanding of music.

My teaching style is student-centered and encouraging. I explain every concept in clear, simple English and adapt lessons according to each student's goals, interests, and learning pace. This helps students learn comfortably and make steady progress.

I use innovative teaching methods including digital learning platforms, rhythm exercises, ear training, interactive music activities, and personalized song practice. These techniques keep students engaged while improving their technical and creative abilities.

Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, dynamics, and musical expression. I provide regular assessments, practical guidance, and customized practice plans that help students become confident and independent piano players.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and lifelong learning. I believe piano lessons should help students build confidence, discipline, creativity, and technical excellence. Every lesson is adapted to support the student's personal goals while making learning enjoyable.

Students first develop strong foundations through posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm practice, note reading, and music theory. They then continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, articulation, expressive performance, sight reading, dynamics, and musical interpretation.

I teach using demonstrations, practical learning, listening activities, and interactive discussions. Students receive regular feedback and personalized practice routines that encourage steady improvement.

Students explore classical, pop, worship, jazz, movie, and contemporary music while developing creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and musical expression.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, beginner composition, music appreciation, and performance preparation.

My mission is to help every student become a confident pianist who enjoys learning, performing, and appreciating music for a lifetime.
