My journey with the Mohan Veena is rooted in a deep reverence for Hindustani classical music and a passion for keeping this magnificent instrument vibrant for the next generation. As a dedicated practitioner, my goal is to bridge the gap between traditional musical excellence and modern, structured teaching methods. Whether you are picking up a stringed instrument for the very first time, or you are an experienced acoustic guitarist looking to transition into the rich world of Ragas, you are in safe, experienced hands.

My classes are custom-tailored for passionate learners of all ages—including school children, college students, and adults—whether they are absolute beginners or transitioning guitarists eager to explore Hindustani classical music. Grounded in the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara but adapted for modern learning, my teaching methodology blends meticulous technical training with deep melodic appreciation. We focus heavily on mastering correct posture, slide (kona) placement, and precise fingerpicking techniques (mizrab) right from the start.
I provide custom, easy-to-follow audio guides and structured notation sheets for home practice, ensuring students never feel lost between lessons. My goal is to demystify this rare, beautiful instrument, transforming complex classical concepts into clear, joyful, and achievable milestones for every student.
