About Jayda
From a young age, I discovered my passion for the performing arts and became a triple threat, studying acting, singing, and dance at 14 years old. Alongside these disciplines, I also delved into the world of music, learning how to read sheet music and play the piano. It was at the age of 16 that I decided to take dance seriously and pursue it as my main focus. I attended Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts, where I honed my skills and received a comprehensive education in various dance styles. I am technically trained in Ballet, Modern (including Horton, Graham, and Dunham techniques), Improv Technique, Jazz Funk, and West African dance. As my passion for dance grew, I decided to expand my horizons and moved to Los Angeles, California. Here, I attended a film and arts college formerly known as Studio School. It was here that I further developed my skills in dance by exploring new styles such as Heels, Hip Hop, and Contemporary Fusion. After completing my education, I wasted no time in pursuing my dreams. I booked my first job as a professional dancer and soon after, obtained representation. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to work on various projects and collaborate with talented individuals in the industry.
