About Mariella

I am an established DJ and musician, playing all over the UK with years of experience. I have residencies, I produce my music, and I make a living from my skills. I have a degree in Music/Popular Music and have a huge knowledge of music history, from jazz to drum and bass. I play at venues, clubs and festivals around the UK.

About the lesson

Teaching you real techniques on modern equipment, with an old school, serious and professional mentality. I will focus you on beat-matching using only your ears, transitions, turntablism and scratch skills. In addition, I will help you understand organising and playlisting your music for your gigs, understanding how genre influences all of the above techniques. In addition, we will learn effects, spin-backs, chops, and other DJing styles. You will have a well-rounded knowledge, being able to play in any genre yet mastering your own style.
