About Fred

- As well as teaching, I am a performer and record producer. I was trained in jazz piano at the Royal Academy of Music, and have performed in renowned venues like Ronnie Scotts and Colour Factory.

- I also write and produce music in lots of different genres like Funk, Soft Rock and RnB and have amassed a social media following of over 10k and 40k on instagram and tiktok through this

- Professionalism has always been important to me, and my lessons foster an environment where the student feels their questions answered, and problems solved. Music can be confusing! So I am extremely experienced in boiling down complex concepts and making them simple and digestible, so they stick and show up in your playing.

About the lesson

- I've been teaching pupils of all ages and abilities now for 5 years, and the teacher-student relationship is something I prioritise - I've always placed emphasis on the impact a great teacher can have.

- We will focus on anything from a song you want to learn, to scales and theory, to exam preparation, each lesson being tailored specifically to your needs !

- I am well versed in both Classical and Jazz piano so either route is always an option. I am also a songwriter and producer, and can offer tuition for these using Logic Pro or Garageband too.

Perfect! As a late learner, Fred has shown me patience and tolerance. He tailored the lessons to suit my lever and interest. He motivated me by simplifying my favourite tunes from classics. He is more than a piano teacher. He is a multi-talented musician with a lot of positive energy :)
