About Valentina

I trained myself at the University and Conservatoire of Santiago de Chile in Vocal and Operatic Studies, achieving a Bachelor's & Master of Music Performance with an Honours Degree. Later on, I trained with some of the leading teachers, singers, and repetiteurs in Argentina, Spain, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and the UK. As an International Opera Singer I have gained wide experience performing in several theatres and opera houses around the world, including Leeds (United Kingdom), Dubai, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Bilbao, Cantabria, Seville, Granada, Málaga, Ceuta (Spain), Mendoza (Argentina) and Santiago (Chile). I have been teaching singing privately to students of all ages and levels for over 10 years, in addition to having an active singing career, which is very important when teaching, since I can provide my students with extensive artistic knowledge that is acquired on stage only. I like to give my students the tools to sing with confidence, getting the best of themselves and finding in them their stamp and authenticity with a solid and healthy vocal technique. I would love to work together, and guide you through this beautiful musical process, to find your voice and discover where it takes you.

About the lesson

As an active and experienced professional singer and vocal coach, I guide my students to develop their singing skills from elementary level to senior level with a knowledge of healthy vocal technique, including: -Breathing (Air control, Intercostal & pelvic muscles support, diaphragm) -Resonance (Head voice, Passaggio, Mixed voice, Chest Voice) -Relaxation (tongue, jaw, neck, shoulders, chest, belly) -Music theory -Repertoire -Genre/Style: Opera, Sacred Music, Musical Theatre, Bossa Nova, Pop music, Rock, Jazz, Folk, Latin music. -Diction & phonetic: English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, Italian, French, German and Czech. -Acting & audition preparation -ABRSM & Trinity Singing Exams preparation. I firmly believe that anyone can and should sing if it is what you love and enjoy, and I would be happy to help you reach your potential!

Perfect! Valentina is really sweet and knowledgeable. And she can demonstrate what she preaches too! I tried having lessons before with other teachers but she is truly exceptional. The progress I've made with my Classical singing in our 6 months of lessons is outstanding! All I can do is recommend her! :)

Perfect! Val is great to work with, she has such a a positive and authentic teaching style that is very comforting. I’m a hobbyist singer who hit a roadblock with my singing and she’s helping me undo bad habits and find my voice. Massively feeling the progress!
