About Ramy
Ramy Adly is an American-Egyptian oud master, performer, and educator with a global reputation in Arabic and Middle Eastern music. He is the founder of The School of Oud Online, where students from more than 27 countries learn oud through a clear, step-by-step system. Ramy studied oud performance at the School of Oud Online and graduated from AOH with high honors. He later continued his artistic journey in the United States, performing in theaters, cultural centers, and international concerts. His teaching focuses on strong technique, musical expression, and a deep understanding of the maqam system. Ramy’s mission is to make oud education organized, accessible, and inspiring for serious students worldwide.

My oud lessons are structured, step by step, with sheet music written specifically for the Oud instrument with exact techniques and easy to follow. I focus on proper technique, clean sound, rhythm, and understanding Arabic music and maqam. Each lesson is organized with clear goals so students know exactly what to practice and how to improve.
I teach beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, and I adapt the pace to each learner. The goal is to build strong skills, confidence, and musical understanding in a simple and effective way.
