About Marie
With 15 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I have trained students from different age groups and professional backgrounds. I teach school children, college youth, and working professionals who want to learn music seriously or as a hobby.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, patience, and progress. I believe music should be learnt step by step with clarity. I start with basic chords and rhythm exercises, then gradually introduce advanced techniques and performance skills.
Throughout my teaching journey, many of my students have participated in competitions and stage events. Several have gained strong confidence and appreciation for their performances. Their success is a proud moment for me.
I create a supportive and motivating classroom atmosphere. I encourage students to practise consistently and stay focused on their goals. My mission is to guide every learner towards musical excellence.

My approach to teaching Guitar combines patience, structure, and creative learning. I believe every student has unique potential, and my role is to guide them step by step. I follow Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity as the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I first ensure students understand the fundamentals such as correct hand position, chord transitions, and rhythm control.
Once the basics are strong, I introduce advanced techniques like scale improvisation, fingerstyle patterns, and expressive dynamics. Motivation helps students remain dedicated during challenging lessons. I provide continuous encouragement and track their improvement.
Communication is friendly and clear, allowing students to ask questions freely and understand both theory and practice. Integrity ensures that I maintain high standards and focus on correct habits from the beginning.
Creativity allows students to experiment with melodies, chord progressions, and different music styles. I also teach music theory concepts, ear training exercises, and stage confidence to create well-rounded musicians.
