About Daniel
Daniel started playing piano in Portugal at the age of 8. After a few years of playing music alongside many sports he truly fell in love with the instrument and started lessons with American concert pianist Elizabeth Allen.
Daniel would later graduate from Chetham`s School of Music in Manchester, where he learned core music theory and was tutored by contemporary piano expert Peter Lawson, and then started his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM).
He took part in various different projects in the RNCM, including playing piano in large and small orchestras, accompanying ballet dancers, commissioning and performing contemporary piano music, and even winning the world record for the most pianists to play a piano at once! Daniel also took part in a Music Pedagogy course which explored many different ways of teaching music to different types of learners, and was able to apply this to various students.
Daniel is passionate about the piano and music and is keen to share his all round education in the most joyful way possible!
