About Lisa

I am a dedicated Piano tutor with 15 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals develop their musical abilities. My passion for music and teaching allows me to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's goals.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I believe that every student can learn Piano successfully when given the right guidance and support. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creativity.

My lessons cover piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, finger exercises, and performance preparation. I focus on building strong foundations while helping students gain confidence in their playing.

In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music reading, and basic music theory. I encourage students to understand the principles behind music so they can become independent and confident musicians.

Through personalised instruction and consistent feedback, I help students achieve their goals while developing a genuine love for music. My aim is to make learning Piano a rewarding and enjoyable experience for every student.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and structured learning. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching methods to help each learner achieve their full potential.

Lessons begin with developing proper posture, finger movement, note reading, rhythm, and music theory. These foundations are strengthened through regular practice before introducing scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, sight reading, pedal techniques, and expressive performance.

I explain musical concepts using simple English and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, solve musical challenges independently, and build confidence through regular practice. Every lesson ends with helpful feedback and a personalised practice plan.

Students also explore different musical genres while developing creativity through accompaniment and simple improvisation. This keeps learning interesting and improves overall musicianship.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, performance preparation, music appreciation, and sight reading. These additional subjects strengthen both technical ability and musical understanding.

My goal is to create enjoyable lessons where students gain confidence, improve steadily, and develop a lasting passion for piano and music.
