About Carmen
Music has introduced me to students from many different backgrounds, and teaching piano has been a rewarding part of that journey. During my 11 years of teaching experience, I have helped children and hobby learners enjoy learning while building confidence with every lesson.
I encourage students to understand music instead of rushing through lessons. By combining technique, rhythm, music theory, sight reading, and creative activities, students develop the skills needed to play comfortably and continue improving over time.
Every learner has different interests and goals, so I prepare lessons that match their pace and learning style. My aim is to create a positive learning experience where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to keep playing.

Learning piano becomes more enjoyable when lessons are practical, relaxed, and easy to follow. Every class combines demonstrations, simple exercises, and familiar music pieces that help students understand each concept while building confidence and improving their playing step by step.
Students learn finger techniques, scales, chords, rhythm, arpeggios, hand coordination, sight reading, music theory, accompaniment, improvisation, dynamics, and expressive playing. Practical activities and different musical styles help students apply what they learn instead of only memorizing notes.
Students receive detailed feedback, home practice plans, and regular lesson reviews to keep track of their progress. Whether learning for examinations, performances, or personal enjoyment, each lesson helps students become confident piano players with stronger musical understanding.
