About Clover

I am a dedicated piano tutor with 13 years of professional teaching experience, having successfully guided around 300 students. My students include high school learners, college students, and adults from different backgrounds and skill levels. Teaching piano has allowed me to positively impact many lives through music and mentorship.

My teaching philosophy is based on building strong fundamentals and encouraging steady progress. I focus on proper posture, hand positioning, finger strength, scales, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading. I believe that when students master the basics, they gain confidence and are able to handle more advanced music with ease. I also integrate music theory into lessons so students understand the structure behind the pieces they play.

I create structured lesson plans that include warm-ups, technical development, and repertoire practice. However, I remain flexible and adjust according to each student’s learning pace and goals. Some of my students prepare for graded music exams, while others aim to perform in recitals or simply enjoy playing as a hobby.

Over the years, many of my students have shown remarkable improvement. Several have achieved excellent exam results and performed confidently in public events. Watching their growth gives me great satisfaction. My goal is to nurture disciplined, expressive, and confident pianists who develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My piano teaching style combines strong communication, creative exploration, flexibility, and steady skill development. I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in technique and musical understanding. I explain each concept clearly and ensure students understand before moving forward. Creativity keeps students motivated and engaged.

I include exercises that encourage imagination, such as creating variations of simple melodies or experimenting with dynamics. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons based on student progress and learning style. I support students in setting realistic goals and developing effective practice routines.

Besides piano performance, I teach ear training, music theory, rhythm studies, and harmony to create well-rounded musicians. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident, expressive pianists who can play with skill and emotion.
