About Melisa Askin

Hi! I’m a passionate dancer and private tutor currently studying Business at the University of London. I started dancing at a young age in Türkiye and have participated in many national competitions, festivals, concerts, and brand launch performances — including dancing behind well-known artists. My team placed 4th in a nationwide competition, and I’ve also worked as an assistant dance instructor and led a dance club at my high school, teaching students and choreographing yearly shows.

I’m currently continuing my dance journey both in Türkiye and London and offering private dance lessons for beginner to intermediate levels. Whether you want to build confidence, improve technique, learn choreography, or simply dance for fun, I’d love to help.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be both enjoyable and professionally structured. We start with warm-up exercises to prepare the body safely for dancing. Based on your favourite music, dance style, or inspiration performances, I prepare a personalised weekly choreography in advance. During the lesson, I teach movements step-by-step with attention to technique, aesthetics, confidence, and performance quality. My goal is not only to improve your dance skills, but also to help your body feel comfortable with movement and your rhythm connect naturally with the music.
