About Max
I am a freelance musician, working primarily in music production and artist development, but I hugely enjoy coaching and tutoring musicians to fulfil their dreams of becoming professional musicians. I previously sang Bass in Winchester Cathedral Choir and was fortunate enough to have sung around the world in places such as the Vatican, The Kremlin, Moscow Conservatoire, New York City, and other international venues.
I have been giving lessons for just over a year since I left university and have thoroughly enjoyed working with musicians and helping them improve their skills. I've had the pleasure of tutoring over 5 students, all of whom have made incredible progress.

I try to create a relaxed, fun, and nurturing learning environment for my students while also using goal setting to track progress. In my lessons, you'll learn a series of exercises that will allow you to reach the full potential of your voice without strain or injury, while also developing depth, stamina and ultimate control of your voice. We will then use these exercises as a reference point when you come to sing your pieces.
By using these exercises as the basis for reference and practice, you will:
- Expand your range
- Develop a unique style
- Learn projection, annunciation and stage presence
- Reduce performance anxiety
- Increase stamina and endurance
