About Marcel
I am a qualified teacher with a BA/BEd. I started as a High School Drama & English teacher before pivoting into specialty teaching with NIDA Open and Improv Theatre Sydney.
I have graduated from Improv Theatre Sydney, iO Chicago, and studied under excellent artists such as Doctor Brown, Bill Arnett, Tom Walker, Carlo Ritchie, and Steen Raskopoulos.
I have directed theatre, written plays, acted and performed around Australia as well as the UK, US and NZ.

I love collaborating with people on their creative projects. My favourite thing in stand-up comedy is accessing what makes you uniquely funny. Discovering your most authentic voice. I pride myself on creating accessible and practical exercises and avoiding too much jargon.
