About Nelson

I am a professional table tennis coach with over 20 years of coaching and competitive experience. I began my coaching career in Hong Kong, working as a head coach and team coach for primary and secondary school teams, guiding students to consistent inter-school medals and podium finishes at territory-wide competitions. I coach players of all ages and levels — from beginners building strong fundamentals, to adults seeking fitness and consistency, to players aiming for competitive improvement. My sessions emphasize clear technique, injury prevention, and steady progress. I relocated to Toronto in 2024 and now offer mobile coaching across Toronto and York Region. I teach in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, ensuring clear communication with both students and parents.

About the lesson

I offer structured, mobile table tennis coaching for children, adults, and competitive players of all levels.

Sessions are tailored to individual goals — from building strong fundamentals and confidence, to improving fitness, technique, and match performance.

With experience coaching school teams, adults, and long-term players, I focus on clear instruction, injury prevention, and steady progress in a supportive environment.

Training takes place at a court chosen by the student or family, with flexible formats for 1-on-1 or small groups.
