About Behruz

I have been training in Taekwondo since the age of 6, developing a deep foundation in the art through disciplined practice and guidance under highly experienced masters. Over the years, my journey has taken me from traditional training environments to advanced study and real-world application, allowing me to understand Taekwondo not only as a sport, but as a system of movement, discipline, and personal development.

After moving to New York for college, I reconnected with my training on a deeper level, refining both my technical skill and teaching approach under the mentorship of Master Ji. This experience helped me understand the true meaning of martial arts — the connection between mind, body, structure, and intention.

Today, I bring that experience into my teaching with a focus on precision, fundamentals, and individual growth. I work with students of all levels, helping them improve performance in Taekwondo, sparring, poomsae, self-defense, and athletic development, as well as preparing athletes for competition, fitness goals, and performance-based fields such as acting and modeling.

My teaching approach is structured, detail-oriented, and adaptive to each student’s ability and goals, creating a professional training environment built on discipline, progress, and confidence.

About the lesson

My martial arts training goes beyond simply teaching techniques — I focus on the deeper understanding of movement, precision, timing, discipline, and the connection between mind and body. Every lesson is personalized to the student’s energy, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement, creating a training experience that is both effective and motivating.

I specialize in Taekwondo, kickboxing, boxing, poomsae, sparring, flexibility, self-defense, and athletic conditioning. Whether you are preparing for poomsae or sparring competitions, looking to improve fitness, build confidence, develop performance skills for acting/modeling, or simply want a dedicated training partner, I adapt the curriculum to your needs.

My sessions are structured, engaging, and detail-oriented while still being enjoyable and challenging. I aim to help students grow physically and mentally through professional martial arts instruction tailored specifically to them.
