About Dan
I am currently a trumpet player in the British Army, and I have extensive experience of high pressure performances and performing solos also. I have recently become the principal cornet player of Staines Brass Band, where not only am I able to continue to improve my own playing and also managing a section, I can also nurture and tutor my section to get the best out of them.
I would like to do more tutoring as this is the best way to pass on my knowledge that I’ve learned over the years I’ve been playing to the next generation of players.

My lessons will be student led, helping them to achieve their goals and making music that interests them, whilst also working on their playing technique and watching them improve lesson by lesson.
I have some experience of tutoring before, but I would like to hone in this skill and hopefully nurture the new talents so that they may take on a career in music.
