Mr. Miller is a researcher, lecturer/teacher, curriculum developer and teacher trainer who has taught in Africa, Hong Kong, Korea, Middle East, Canada, Malaysia and Brunei. He has an MA in ELT (TESOL/TEFL) from University of East London, and Applied Linguistics University of Leicester, BEd and BA in Literature (honors), Saint Mary's University, Canada and Diploma in TESOL, University Leicester. Mr. Miller is a dedicated instructor who loves his profession.
He believes students have individual needs and learning styles, and curriculum has to be tailored to fit their particular weaknesses. Weak areas are most often determined by an individual’s first language, and this is a key point when working with individuals. Lessons should be stimulating, interesting and fun.
His approach to using this methodology was developed through years of research, lecturing academic skills, teaching TOEFL, IELTS, conducting workshops and piloting courses in speaking/pronunciation/ to both degree, postgraduate students, and lecturers who speak English as a second language.
