I am a creative and nurturing teacher. I like my students to have performance goals to work towards whilst learning the technical and musical skills to express themselves. Alongside this I am keen to help students feel physically comfortable playing the instrument with good posture.

The lessons are typically 60 minutes in duration, with shorter lessons available for younger learners. I have a trajectory in mind for each student's development and choose the repertoire accordingly. I strongly encourage students to listen to music featuring the violin/viola between the lessons as a source of learning and inspiration.
