About Edi

I am a dedicated violin teacher and concert violinist, as well as a featured artist for iClassical Academy. My unique journey began with my father, a master violin maker, who immersed me deeply into the world of the violin from a very young age. I have been privileged to win top prizes at international competitions and frequently perform concerts and recitals as a soloist and chamber musician in my home country and abroad. Recently I was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall as a prize winner at 1st Global Tango Music Competition.

About the lesson

With over 8 years of professional teaching experience, I have guided many students from young beginners to college/academy-level musicians. I'm committed to imparting the foundational principles of violin playing, empowering students to apply this knowledge and foster their independence through varied teaching material. Furthermore, I recognize the significance of performance psychology and integrate it into my teachings, aiding students in refining how they sound and feel, not only in the practice room but in an actual concert setting — an often neglected but crucial aspect of mastering any instrument. However, beyond techniques and methodologies, I prioritize building a genuine connection with each student. I firmly believe that an authentic bond can unlock a student's full potential. My goal is to cultivate individuality, ensuring that students don't just replicate their teacher, but find their unique voice. The technique is a means to an end, a tool that lets one's soul express itself freely. I make it a point to meticulously assess every student's needs in the initial lesson, tailoring my instruction to their specific requirements. After each session, I aim for my students to leave with clear directions to realize all their musical aspirations, confident that the insights gained from my teachings align with their musical objectives.
