About Eden
Hello! I’m a violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and an Associate of Music in String Performance. My expertise is in Nordic and Klezmer fiddle traditions, including Swedish and Norwegian styles. I enjoy sharing the intricate ornaments, rhythms, and expressive qualities of this music.
I teach ear-based learning, bowing patterns, and ornamentation using folk jam tracks, drone tuners, and repertoire-driven lessons. Students learn to play naturally, feel the rhythms, and interpret tunes creatively.
We explore phrasing, improvisation, and stylistic nuance to make each performance unique. Lessons focus on hands-on learning, musicality, and personal growth. Activities are tailored to each student’s goals and interests.
