About Ingrid
I am a professional violinist with a degree from the Eastman School of Music. I have played with the Des Moines Symphony and Empire Film and Media Ensemble, and will be starting a new role as Assistant Concertmaster of Dubuque Symphony Orchestra. One of my performance goals for this year is to play a duo recital with my husband.
I have taught lessons at ROCmusic in Rochester, NY, as well as in Oaxaca, Mexico as part of a week-long residency. I enjoy teaching violin because music gives my students an outlet to express themselves freely.

I encourage and guide my students to understand what they want out of their violinistic studies and to enjoy the process of learning.
I create an individualized course of study for each student while maintaining the same emphasis on building strong technical and musical foundations and teaching life skills through music. Every student thrives differently!
