About Kami
As a professionally trained violinist with a Doctorate of Musical Arts from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, I bring both deep musical knowledge and a warm, structured approach to every lesson. I’ve taught over 100 students in private studios, schools, and university settings. My performance experience spans international festivals, chamber ensembles, and solo recitals, and I continue to grow as a musician through creative collaborations and residencies. Students can expect a well-rounded, personalized, and inspiring learning experience rooted in both technical mastery and artistic exploration. I care deeply about each student’s progress and always strive to create a welcoming, professional environment where they feel supported and motivated.

I’ve taught students of all ages and levels, both in person and online, and I love making lessons both productive and fun. My rate is $70/hour. Transportation fee TBD if at-home.
