About Pranvera
As an accomplished violinist with over 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience, I bring a blend of musical excellence, pedagogical expertise, and a deep commitment to inspiring students through the joy of music.
I began playing the violin at the age of seven and have refined my skills through formal education and extensive professional engagements. My performance career has included playing with a range of ensembles and orchestras, covering a broad repertoire as both 1st and 2nd Violinist. I am also an active member of a professional string trio that performs at concerts, weddings, and private events, showcasing versatility and a commitment to live performance.
Alongside performing, I have dedicated the past 15 years to teaching violin to students of all ages and abilities, both privately and in music schools. I am passionate about nurturing each student’s potential and tailoring my teaching methods to suit their individual needs, helping them build a solid technical foundation while encouraging a lifelong love of music.
My international performance experience across multiple countries has broadened my artistic perspective and deepened my appreciation for music’s power to connect people across cultures.

My teaching approach is centred on the belief that every student is unique and learns best when lessons are tailored to their individual needs, goals, and learning style. I aim to make the process of learning the violin both challenging and enjoyable, fostering a lifelong love for music rather than simply teaching notes and technique.
Teaching Methodology
I combine classical violin training with modern, student-focused strategies to create an engaging and inspiring learning experience. My method balances three key elements:
Solid Technique – Building strong foundations in posture, bow hold, intonation, and sound production, ensuring students develop good habits from the start.
Musicality & Expression – Encouraging students to connect emotionally with the music, developing phrasing, dynamics, and artistry from the very first pieces.
Motivation & Creativity – Incorporating duets, fun exercises, and occasionally improvisation or favourite songs to keep lessons fresh and inspiring.
I also place great emphasis on setting clear goals and celebrating progress, so students can feel a sense of achievement at every stage.
Outline of a Typical Lesson
A standard violin lesson with me follows a well-structured format designed to maximise focus and progress:
Warm-Up & Technique – Short exercises focusing on bowing, scales, and finger patterns to prepare both hands.
Repertoire Practice – Working on pieces that match the student’s level, gradually increasing in complexity, and exploring different styles (classical, film music, folk).
Musicality & Performance Skills – Developing phrasing, tone, and stage confidence through guided playthroughs and expressive exercises.
Duet or Ensemble Work – Where appropriate, I play alongside students to help them develop rhythm, listening skills, and confidence.
Feedback & Goal Setting – Summarising the lesson, highlighting successes, and agreeing on realistic practice goals for the week.

I encourage consistent home practice, and I provide clear, practical guidance after each lesson to make practice enjoyable and effective.
Students are welcome to bring in music they love — I will happily arrange or adapt pieces so that we can explore them together.
I am experienced in preparing students for graded music exams (ABRSM, Trinity), school performances, or simply playing for personal enjoyment.
By combining structured technical development with creativity, encouragement, and performance opportunities, my lessons create a supportive environment where students thrive — whether they are absolute beginners, aspiring professionals, or adult learners rediscovering their love for music.
