About Nina
I am a graduate of the Tbilisi State Conservatoire (Georgia) and hold a BAMus and MA in violin performance and teaching. I have 20 years' experience of performance and teaching, having played in symphonic and chamber orchestras in Europe. I have taught the violin in primary and secondary educational settings, music schools and colleges. A number of my former students have progressed onto university music courses in different European countries and into national orchestras as violin players. Currently, I am employed as a music and instrumental teacher in Manchester. I have a clear Enhanced DBS check. In addition to English, I can also teach in Russian, Greek and Georgian.

I believe that each student is different and teach to the individual needs of the student in a supportive and friendly way. In each lesson, I will encourage the student to develop their skills and challenge them to ensure that progress is made. I always strive for the highest quality and the best results. In addition to playing and teaching the violin, I teach music theory, history of music and piano to students who wish to progress onto formal examinations. I teach students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced and have over 20 years' experience of teaching in primary and secondary education and music colleges. I hold a BAMus and MA in violin performance and am QTS qualified. I am happy to teach both face-to-face and online or a mixture of both.

Perfect! Nina is well versed in all types of music and you can tell she is very knowledgeable. My first lesson was amazing she helped me with my posture and holding my violin better, I felt very at ease with Nina and really enjoyed meeting her and can not wait for my next lesson which I have booked!
