About Noah

I am a professional visual artist and Art History undergraduate with a strong foundation in both traditional techniques and contemporary theory. My career spans an active, daily studio practice to high-level professional instruction, including coaching acting talent in painting techniques for a major Netflix audiovisual production. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, technically rigorous, and conceptually engaging art education that empowers my students to achieve their full creative potential.

Hello! I’m Noah.

As a professional visual artist and art history undergraduate, I believe that mastering the fundamentals is the key to true creative freedom. My classes are designed to give you a solid technical foundation while developing your unique artistic voice.

• Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My approach is highly personalised. Depending on your goals, our classes can be strictly technical, purely conceptual, or—most effectively—a seamless blend of both.
For technical rigour, we can dive deep into core skills: linear perspective, colour theory, form, light and shadow, and line quality. On the conceptual side, we can engage in contemporary discussions about the artwork itself, exploring format, scale, narrative, palette choices, and developing a conscious, articulate discourse around your art.

• The Online Studio Experience (Lesson Format)
Lessons are fully online and designed to be highly interactive. I use a professional multi-camera setup: alongside my webcam, I use a dedicated camera angled directly at my desk and easel for clear, close-up practical demonstrations. During our 60 to 90-minute sessions, I also use screen-sharing to do real-time digital drawovers on your work, giving you precise, visual feedback. Between classes, I can assign optional homework and practical exercises to accelerate your progress, entirely depending on your routine and preferences.

• My Experience
I am an active, practising artist backed by formal academic training in Art History. My teaching experience is highly adaptable—ranging from guiding absolute beginners in their first brushstrokes to intensely coaching an actress in painting techniques for a Netflix audiovisual production.

• Who Are These Lessons For?
Tailored for teens and adults of all skill levels. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the very first time, or you are an intermediate painter looking to refine your technique, overcome a creative block, or critically discuss your portfolio, I will tailor our journey to suit your specific goals.
