Hello! I'm Amber, a professional vocalist, performer, songwriter, and vocal coach with a lifelong passion for music and helping others discover their unique voice. I've spent years performing on stage, recording music, leading worship, and coaching singers of all ages and experience levels. My greatest joy is watching students gain confidence, not only in their singing, but in themselves. Whether you're taking your very first lesson or looking to refine years of experience, I'm committed to helping you grow at your own pace while making each lesson enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding. I believe that great singers aren't created by memorizing exercises. They're created by understanding how their voice works and learning to trust it. My teaching style is inspired by the thought that every exercise has a purpose, even if that purpose isn't immediately obvious. Rather than overwhelming students with technical terms, I help them experience healthy vocal technique through practical, engaging exercises that naturally develop confidence, control, and musicality. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's goals, experience level, and style. A typical lesson begins with a vocal and physical warm-up, followed by targeted technique exercises designed to strengthen specific skills such as breath support, resonance, pitch accuracy, range, or vocal freedom. We then apply those techniques directly to songs the student enjoys, ensuring that every concept has a real-world application. Lessons often conclude with performance coaching, stage presence, or music theory concepts that reinforce what we've learned. My experience sets me apart as both a professional performer and vocal coach. I don't just teach students how to sing. I teach them how to communicate through music. My goal is to build confident, expressive performers who understand why something works, not just how to imitate it. Whether a student dreams of performing on stage, recording music, auditioning for theater, leading worship, or simply becoming a stronger singer, I create a supportive environment where growth happens naturally and confidently. My Introduction to Music lessons (Ages 5-8): Fun, interactive lessons that introduce rhythm, melody, musical creativity, listening skills, and basic music fundamentals through games and age-appropriate activities.
My Vocal Performance, Stagecraft & Music Theory (Ages 9 and up): Lessons for beginners through advanced singers covering healthy vocal technique, performance skills, stage confidence, microphone technique, audition preparation, songwriting fundamentals, and music theory. Lessons are personalized for each student's goals, whether recreational or professional.
My mission is simple: to help every student discover not only what their voice can do, but what they are capable of achieving through patience, discipline, and a genuine love of music.
