About Lauren
I am a vocalist who has trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Indiana University, and Yale. I have had a professional performing career for ten years, and love to share that experience with teaching. I am a published author, writing on the subject of teaching in a trauma informed/holistic method.

When working with a student I meet them where they’re at - I assess what they want to get out of a musically enriched life, and then we work from there. I love to asses strengths and weaknesses and lovingly move forward working to what makes the student great and moving past what is holding them back. I love picking repertoire they love, and making detailed practise plans to get the most out of their art.
