Perfect! Gained solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming and C++ concepts after completing the course. In addition, I gained knowledge on what happens at the Operating System level during the execution of a program. The tutor’s technical knowledge is second to none and has a knack of making the student grasp various concepts. He expresses his ideas in a clear and concise manner. He shows great enthusiasm in sharing his knowledge with the student. He encourages learning through rigorous experimentation and it was a memorable and fun-filled learning experience. Rather than being one way communication, the sessions will be two-way interaction between the tutor and the student. There will be no nonsense from the tutor and when appropriate, he will be more than interested in sharing knowledge beyond the boundaries of the subject. He will bring up several real life examples during the sessions which will help the student appreciate the concepts much better. He encourages the student to ask doubts and is more than willing to clarify them. The pace of the course was fine and he was more than happy to spend some time on the basics, which was a necessity for me since C programming was not my strong point. He displays lots of patience and persistence in case the student is unable to grasp a concept and ensures that the student is comfortable with it before moving on to other concepts. The assignments will be interesting and will test the student’s conceptual understanding. He will expect good amount of dedication and work ethic, which I personally feel are important to master any subject. He constantly motivates the student to seek excellence and doesn’t encourage mediocrity. At the end of the course, I was assigned a topic to study on my own, experiment and present what I understood from the topic. It gave me tremendous confidence and improved my interpersonal skills. Overall, the learning experience was great and I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning C++ and willing to put effort.
