About Zack
I'm easy-going, but I take my lessons seriously. You truly get out of an experience what you put into it. I'm very passionate about literature and the written word in general, and I do what I can to share that passion. I've worked as a writer or editor in some fashion for over 10 years in a variety of industries, and I carry a real sense of pragmatism in both professional and educational settings. There's no one best way to learn, so let's find the way that works best for you!

I am a gestalt learner, and my lessons reflect that. I take a holistic approach to teaching so that tutees can build a solid foundation for their skills that they can rely on. My aim is to enable real connections to the subject matter and I work with students to empower them to focus on the aspects of the material they relate to. My lessons are for middle school, high school, and college level courses in English, for help both with writing and literary analysis.
