About Mio

8 students of mine took JLPT N5 in July 2024, and all of them passed! I am so proud of my students’ achievement!! Hi! I’m Mio from Japan. I'm a native Japanese speaker, with extensive experience teaching Japanese language to people of all school students to business persons. My natural lesson-style will suit any Japanese learners who want to study at their own pace in a fun way! But I can adapt the style to suit your preference. I have been studied English for long time, so I know how hard to study a new language. I would love to help you with the enjoyable and practical lessons! ★I am a professionally qualified Japanese teacher (I passed the official Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in October 2020) ★WORK EXPERIENCE -Currently working Asian Language school as Japanese Language teacher from 2020 -I had been working in education field and IT field in Japan from 2016-2020 ★The things I like… 　Huge asian cuisine lover / Badminton / Travelling / Coffee lover 　Learning other language (currently I’m learning Spanish)

About the lesson

★I have been teaching Japanese 3 years at Language school in London and online. ★Most of my students are total beginners (starting with zero Japanese). And I enjoy teaching that level the most! Example of lessons that I can provide.... ❶For beginner’s lessons, the textbook I usually like to use is Minna No Nihongo (みんなの日本語). Are you nervous because you are a total beginner? Don’t worry about it. I speak English, so I can teach Japanese while using English to explain it too.  ❷For intermediates and above level, Let's brush up your Japanese with JLPT N3 grammar point lessons and free-style conversation lesson! In trial lesson, I would like to discuss about what do you want to enhance in this lesson and see your level to plan for your future lessons! 一緒に日本語を勉強しましょう！ Let's study Japanese together!

Perfect! Mio has been my teacher for about 8 months now and she has been outstanding. I look forward to every lesson and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.
