About Mandy

My background is in education. I started as an early childhood educator, tutored full-time in a high school setting, and then went back to school to get my master's and doctorate in adult education and human resource development. Since then, I have worked with all types of students including students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, second language learners, veterans, and non-traditional students. I have developed and taught online statistics courses for bachelor's, master's, and doctorate-level students.

About the lesson

Learning modalities: I will incorporate different modalities into sessions to ensure you learn the material. I provide additional resources, visuals, and practice.

Step by step: I teach statistics in small steps, ensuring you understand each concept before moving forward. I have the patience and ability to explain things in multiple ways until you understand.

Safe space: With a background in psychology, I will hold space for you during the meetings. If you need to just vent or explain your frustrations with a topic, I am happy to hear you out and figure out how we can move forward.
