About Joaquim
Classes are approached around slides based on cutting-edge bibliography of film and screenwriting, as well as using audiovisual material such as film clips and documentaries. Written exercises are fundamental for content retention, so I specialize in guiding students with the formulation of proposals, synopses, treatments, scales, complete scenes and scripts, as well as the joint development of premises and dramatic solutions. In addition, the use of audio visual material allows the use of current cultural products and events, which help the student put what they come in contact with in context.

I have a bachelors in History (USP) and Film (FAAP), with a Master's in Film Scriptwriting from the University of Westminster and a PhD in Communication from ECA / USP. I have extensive knowledge of history and art history, and have specialized in supervising the writing of academic works on history, art, as well as film and audiovisual scripts.
