About Sarah Rose
I have a passion for History and the Social Sciences. I firmly believe the phrase that History is the story of human’s past and can show us recognize patterns that can shape the future. It is my desire to help people gain a better grasp of these stories and patterns.
I have tutoring experience dating back to 2012, and proofreading, editing, and writing assistance going back to 2015.

My tutoring first involves getting to know the current understanding a student has on a subject, and what that student’s goals are.
When it comes to a student needing help with understanding a subject, I approach history from a story-telling perspective. It makes history more fun and easier to digest this way. I will still focus on names and dates and all other items required to pass examinations, but I will try to help students understand the events and their cultural, historical, and societal significance.
If a student needs help with writing assignments, I am an experienced proof-reader, and can come up with feedback and editing suggestions to make sure knowledge, ideas, and concepts come through in a clear and concise manner.
