About Ceren

Hello. My name is Ceren. My psychologist. I do therapy and Child Picture Analysis in the fields of Play Therapy, Fairy Tale Therapy, and I also work with children with dyslexia. We carry out my studies with the Montessori education style, and together we decide on the most suitable method and area for each child. Together, we discover what children want to tell us through pictures and games, their inner worlds and moods.

About the lesson

First of all, it is decided to be online or face to face depending on the content of the session. After the session format is decided, free pre-interview (online) is made. In this preliminary meeting, information about the client / family and the child is collected and the form of therapy to be applied is decided. After the pre-interview, the session / therapy hours, content and duration are decided. Play Therapy: It enables the child to express himself / herself with games and toys. Children cannot express their needs and desires directly, but they tell us through their games. In this therapy, it is aimed to develop the cognitive and social aspects of children, to express their feelings comfortably and to find solutions if there is a problem they experience. In this type of therapy, which provides self-confidence and courage to the child through play, the child's introversion decreases and the effect of the traumatic events he experiences decreases. Play therapy; Can be used to solve issues such as traumas, family separation, parental loss, adaptation problems, sibling jealousy, bedwetting, not speaking, eating, sleep and toilet problems, causeless fears, signs of aggression, insecurity and withdrawal, distraction and hyperactivity, adoption it is a therapy technique. Fairy Tale Therapy: helps the child to gain insight, decrease internal conflicts and cope with emotional-based literacy difficulties. The aim of therapy is to make the child feel emotionally well. During the therapy process, the child also learns to develop new social skills and empathize with others, respect, express their feelings, take responsibility for themselves, and find solutions to problems. Child Picture Analysis: It is a child picture expression and character activity. In complex processes such as drawing, painting, tearing, shaping, the child gains experience by creating a meaningful unity. As a result of such activities, the child not only reveals a work of art, but also expresses himself / herself by offering important clues to get to know it. The child reflects his spiritual lives on the pictures he draws. Without realizing it, he conveys his feelings and thoughts. Therefore, if we want to understand the child's lives, we can examine the pictures drawn by the child. (Recognizing the child's pictures can be a process that can start online) Fairy tale therapy; such as traumas, sleep, eating and toilet problems, wetting, pooping, making difficulties, anxieties, fears, tics, phobias, separation anxiety, attachment difficulties, changes in family life, sibling jealousy, adaptation to school, communication problems, boundary setting problems.
