I have been a college level teacher for 20+ years in psychology and science focusing on students' critical thinking skills, writing, and test performance success. My methods succeed in increasing student achievement and overall confidence in accomplishing their academic and professional goals. I seek to engage students in their own learning and increase their test scoring ability as well as their ownership of the material to be learned. Overall, I gear a course towards students' individual learning styles as much as is allowable, with an emphasis on task completion within different formats. My methods include giving a student concrete strategies for remembering material and applying it on measures of test performance.
