My approach as a psychology educator is centered around making learning meaningful, relatable, and applicable to real life. I believe psychology is not just a subject to study, but a tool to understand oneself and others better.
Teaching techniques and methods:
I use a mix of interactive discussions, real-life examples, case-based learning, and reflective activities. Concepts are simplified without losing depth, and I encourage students to think critically rather than rely on rote learning. I also integrate practical insights from counselling and emotional well-being to make learning more relevant.
Structure of a class:
A typical session begins with a quick recap and connection to prior knowledge, followed by concept explanation in a simplified manner. This is supported by examples, discussions, and short activities to reinforce understanding. The session ends with application-based questions, reflection, or exam-oriented practice, depending on the learner’s goal.

What sets me apart is my dual experience as a psychology teacher and counsellor, which allows me to bridge theory with real-life emotional experiences.
